Nicholasville

Positioned in the heart of Kentucky's Bluegrass region, Nicholasville is named in honor of Colonel George Nicholas, a father of the Kentucky Constitution in 1792. A prominent lawyer, politician, and landowner in Fayette County, Nicholas was active in Kentucky's early hemp industry.
